Inditherm has applied its
conductive polymer technology to under pitch heating for football and rugby pitches, as well as
heating for golf courses
, race courses and other large grass sports surfaces. The system is a
superior alternative to cable or gas/hot water heating systems, offering
significantly lower energy costs, improved reliability, lower maintenance costs,
and improved grass growth under natural surfaces. The system is also suitable
for frost protection of artificial turf surfaces.
Inditherm also provides heated seats for stadia ; these can either be fixed
installations, hard wired into a stadium power supply or removable, with plugs
into the stadium supply or with rechargeable batteries that will provide heat
for up to 4 hours.
Using its SpeedHeat products, athletes are now benefiting from Inditherm
heated pads to supplement their sports injury treatments, such as cold and
massage. The system has been used by the European PGA Tour and several football
teams, including Aston Villa, Burnley, Derby County, Kilmarnock, Nottingham
Forest, Rotherham United, and Watford.
