Inditherm SpeedHeat is a new method for applying controlled heat to
various muscles, ligaments, tendons and joints. The products use Inditherm's
patented flexible polymer technology to provide convenient, effective
heating.
SpeedHeat is an alternative to heat packs, wheat bags, wax baths and infrared lamps for
muscle injury, muscle warming, tendon injury, tennis elbow and other
physiotherapy needs.
High Performance
Heating has long been used in treating muscle injuries and for therapy, but
has largely relied on techniques where the heating delivered is difficult to
quantify (e.g. heat lamps, hot baths, heat packs, etc). Inditherm SpeedHeat
delivers precise, controlled heat treatment, directly
to the area required.
Practical & Convenient
Heating pads are flexible and lightweight and are designed to fit directly
around the area to be treated. Several pads can be fitted and operated at the
same time where concurrent therapy is required. The heating pads are quickly and
easily attached using integral Velcro straps.
Proven Results
Inditherm SpeedHeat has been used in a wide range of clinical applications.
It is routinely used by a large number of English and Scottish football league
clubs and is accepted as the most flexible muscle heat therapy system available. Sufferers from conditions such as
arthritis and tendon disorders have reported significant therapeutic benefit
from brief daily use.
Simple to Use
Pads are custom designed for the various areas of application and are easily
fitted. The control unit displays heating pad temperature; simple Up/Down
control buttons are used to adjust the required heat level. Settings in use are
automatically stored and recalled when the unit is turned on again.
Safe & Reliable
Inditherm SpeedHeat uses low voltage (24V) to power the heating pads,
ensuring that patient safety is maintained at all times. The temperature of the
pad is continuously monitored by an in-built thermistor, to ensure that heating
is constant, reliable and controlled. The product is fully certified to
international medical device standards.
